Summary

On Tuesday and Wednesday flooding from coasts is likely along western and northern coastlines, the Western Isles and the Northern Isles due to very strong winds, large waves and surge from #StromBram and high tides. Danger to life from wave overtopping, property flooding, flooding of roads and disruption to infrastructure are possible. There is also a possibility of some localised flooding impacts from coasts in eastern areas on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday flooding from smaller rivers and surface water is likely across the southern Scotland due to heavy rain. Localised property flooding, flooding of roads and disruption to travel is likely.
