Summary

Persistent and heavy rain on Thursday will result in some disruptive river flooding in parts of Tayside, Angus and Aberdeenshire. Elsewhere in parts of central and northeast Scotland some significant river flooding is still possible through into Friday. On Thursday, strong winds and high waves along the east coast of the country could cause isolated spray and wave overtopping which may impact low-lying land and roads.
