Summary

Persistent and heavy rain on Thursday will result in significant river flooding in parts of Tayside, Angus and Aberdeenshire. Elsewhere in the northeast of Scotland from Wednesday to Friday some significant river flooding is still possible. On Wednesday, strong winds and high waves along the east coast of the country could also cause isolated spray and wave overtopping which may impact low-lying land and roads.
