Scottish Flood Forecast

Last updated on 07/09/2025 at 10:27

Summary

Coastal flooding is possible on Sunday through to Thursday, due to a combination of high spring tides, and periods of strong winds and high waves. Anywhere along the coastline could see impacts, but the Western Isles are most likely to be affected. Impacts could include spray and wave overtopping and disruption to travel. Additionally, there is a possibility of some localised impacts from surface water across south, central and western areas on Sunday, due to a period of heavy rain. Impacts may include localised flooding of land and roads and disruption to travel.
