Summary

Flooding from rivers and surface water is likely in southwest Scotland on Tuesday due to heavy rain. Localised property flooding, flooding of roads and disruption to infrastructure is likely. There is also a possibility of some localised impacts from rivers and surface water in northern Scotland, Orkney and the Western Isles from late Tuesday evening and through Wednesday morning due to heavy rain.
